Took part in a birthday celebration surprise for my dear friend Joyce at Sakura Ichi in Downtown Pomona. I grew up in Pomona, so I'm pretty used to the surroundings being that it hasn't really changed in 10 plus years. But for the out of towner it may not be so ideal for one looking for that LA chic sushi restaurant. Although I have to give an A+ to Sakura for an impressive interior design and ambiance. I kept finding myself looking all over the place every 5 minutes. The food wasn't anything out of the ordinary, although the small love boat did make eyes widen being that huge vessel was the smallest out of the three the restaurant offered.
